A nice drive...you had some great runs coming out of BB.
The Maroon 944 Was a 1989 944 Turbo S and they are one class up from me.
He finished first in class.

Doug,

Nice race. Hanging with Jim at M.O. for most of that race is most excellent driving indeed!

See you at Watkins next week.

Nice video and driving. Good to see you missed the wall.

Do you think your car would have had the power to have laid back in the key hole, gotten a run on the 944 and then pulled along the right side of the 944 maintaining the inside and attempting to out brake him for the right hander before madness??

I was faster coming out of the keyhole, but he had enough power to pull me. You can only goes so fast in the keyhole. The type of move your talking about would really have to be attempted in a faster corner like turn 1 or 11. I was giving it my best shot. Mid-O can be very tough to pass cars that have slightly more power than you have.

Doug,

I was impressed with your car's handling and your line around MO.

Nice drive!

Ah it was a turbo. I couldn't tell from the video. At corner exit of the keyhole the boost is coming on strong and only gets stronger from that point forward. A great drive Doug.
