Hahaha, thats fine, actually leave it up for a while its a great picture. Plus its fun to look at bigger, I always have to glance at it as I scroll past.

and since my last one was realy obscure I'll do an easier one and an impossible one
easy-

If anyone guesses this one correctly I think you win this game .....and yes I did know where these were before I saw the caption so its not impossible....bonus points for the car's and drivers....I hope we can get the first one (same in both pics) but the second is a tough one.

Going into the corner

Coming out of it (dif car and driver)

First of all, I AM a student of Motorsport, but I'm struggling just a bit here, much to my own dismay. So, here goes:
The cobblestones of the French GP for that era would likely be Clermont Ferrand? Gonna go look this one up....
The Villeneuve avatar is from Long Beach, by the way.
The "easy" one of that Porsche, I'm not finding so easy, but the tight confines of that chicane lead me to guess it's the Bus Stop at Spa.
Since I know the drivers of this bonus, do I win? Jim Clark is driving the Lotus 49 in two of the pics, the third is Dennis Hulme in a Brabham. The proximity of the sand dunes (not to mention the spectators!!) implies Zandvoort, to me.

I'm welcome to someone try and stump me with some 1960-1979 sportscars and F1, and make it hard [/QUOTE]

Gimme a quick tutorial on how to post a picture like that and we can go at it!

Nice one, Circuit. this HAS to be Senna's famous run-in with Prost at Suzuka that resulted in his clinching the world championship. Prost would return the favor at a different turn on the same track another year.

Im impressed, yes its zandvoort and yes its Clark and the best is that you nailed that it was Hulme in the brabham, so you win that, sorry finn

The 917 is Vic Elford at Lemans, the chicane is right before the pit strait.

.....and since the cobblestone hairpin seems to have stumped everyone i'll tell. Its the Nouveau Monde hairpin at Rouen, and the second picture is dan gurney in the brabham as well.

ohhh and gums the way I host pictures, is I right click save as, then upload them on to photobucket and use the img line of html they give me. If you don't have an image hosting account you can just right click save as. Then attach them to your post, using the thing on the advanced post tool.

I had more pics of that corner for people too. I was just letting them stew for a bit.
