Jay not a yellow one anytime soon because it would be too fast. After all the actual name of the car color is "speed yellow"!

I was reading the spec rules and they were specific about the oil sump pan can only be the Brey Krause oil pan. Didn't someone recently modify a x51 pan where the baffle flaps were modified to metal instead of the flexible plastic. Is this a possible change. I am not totally up on the x51 oil fix but I thought it required a little bit more fabrication to get it to work. Is the extra fabrication a no-no in boxster spec racing.

Maybe this is a non issue because the boxster spec rules calls for a 2.5L motor not a 3.4L. Or does it not matter.

It also looks like they have edited the rules. PSS10's are an option now! But I bet you can get a smoking deal on PSS9's now.

As anyone build a car to these specs here in Florida, would like to get a look at a legal prepared car.
Thanks

Why safer? I can't imagine the fiberglass lid being anything but destroyed in a rollover but would like to hear your take on it.
