My team told me that, too, that's why I sat out qualifying. I never found out if they were out there during qualifying, but I have to assume that they were not measuring the race, I doubt I'd have been allowed to continue if they were.
I always run open pipes on my car, except this event. But, I'm going to drive other cars in the enduro at the Glen, and save mine for the HSR event there.

Well, I can definetly bring some of the premium extra-vergin olive oil......that will make any food at the Glen taste good...

I'm only gonna show up for the Sunday enduro at the Glen, either in a DeMan Boxster or in a less competitve 911, just to codrive. I'll be teaching (teeth) in Miami on Friday, so couldn't put a whole weekend in. Starting to prefer HSR events anyway, that's when I'll have my car up there.

Highly recommended. We have a mini-compound thing going on at events these days. We'll be camping and grilling at the Glen race, too!

 

I'm just going to wander around with a sad look and an empty plate and see what I can come up with!
