Penske really is a remarkable team!

Let's keep ou fingers crossed for the race.
May the Gods of Zuffenhausen be with them!
Apparently Roger himself was carrying parts over the bridge to the pits so they could fix the #7. I'm really looking forward to this race! I'm becoming a groupie of ALMS on par with my addiction to the NFL!

That was some more classy driving/blocking by Salo in the Risi team tradition.

Maybe Penske bolted on a couple for the event.

Anyone else just catch when the camera went to the in car of Patrick Long that Melo did his usual crap of racing the LMP2 car into the corner. Patrick just drove by him on the straight and looked over and shook his head at him.

Classic Melo stupidity/arrogance.

I thought he was shaking his head at Melo too. I was waiting for the finger.

Not one of the most enjoyable ALMS races.
I'm disappointed for Penske and the Lizards.
The 997 has definitely improved, but still requires a little more pace.

Was it Melo that nearly pushed the Lizard into the wall? How can that be a single defensive "racing move"? He drove half way across the state of Florida to do it.

Yes, that's the incident we're referring to.

I thought Salo made the first move all the way across the track to block the 911 before he got out, but I didn't record the race.
