Sounds like the #7 Spyder just crashed in practice as a result of the Farnbacher car having issues. Too bad, it sounds like it might be tough for the car to make qualifying.
No , it was the Vici car.
With the race being only 1h:55 min (and I don't think they'll make it to qualy) it looks like a tough race for Dumas.
Good to see the 997's so competitive!

In a picture posted by DMW44 in another thread it looked like there were 3 Penske Spiders in their pit area. Do they have a spare car?
The rear engine platform is done. You just can't make it go fast enough.
I'm over the moon with the qualifying results, but......we need to keep in mind that this type of a track affords some advantage to the 997's rear engine layout (i.e. point and squirt)
The real proof will lie when we get to the "real" road courses.
Last years car was less efficient than the F430's in the medium and fast corners.

Sorry, I was just repeating what Radio Le Mans had said. I tried to update my post but Rennlist was down for hours yesterday. The Penske crews' work to get the 7 car back on the grid to qualify first in P2 was incredible.
