Default Joe Buonsante's heart transplant tonight

Hey guys,

I want to share this with you.
Joe Buonsante is getting heart transplant tonight. He is a 32 years old, who's been suffering with heart problem for a long time (on/off list since 99) and finally tonight he's doing it.

All his young life Joe has been a big Porsche enthusiast. He worked as race car mechanic at Eurosport Racing in Chicago for years, till he got to the point when his physical conditions didn't allow him do it any longer. Then he continued to serve a local Porsche community by selling performance stuff at local Porsche dealer.

I'm sure some guys here know him personally, some of you still running his well build motors in your cars and lots of you had a chance to meet him at the race tracks. There is always a good atmosphere around Joe, he makes people smile and laugh. He's the one most funniest character I've met in my life. Just a GREAT GUY!

Tonight I thing is most important night in his life.
Procedure was scheduled for 10 PM at Chicago University Hospital.
Let's pray and hope for his best luck! He's really need it.

Thinking of your friend Joe tonight.

New "engine" installed and working well. I hope he's good for at least 1,000,000 miles!

Mike,

Thanks for the updates. I was under the impression that Joe had been steadily improving since he stopped going to the races and working in, what was for him, extreme conditions. The guy put on a brave face!

Please keep us updated.
