Every time I see one of these rally videos I think two things:

1) These guys are unbelievable drivers
2) The spectators have to be some of the most stupid people on the planet

BMW drovers tend to be MUCH better than others.

That video is absolutely impressive, I wonder what he could do in a less tarmac stage?

At one point he was 37 seconds faster/ahead of the worlds top daly driver at that time in the same race!

I will say one thing, from having my track e46 m, those cars are soooooo controlable at the limits and give tons of confidence, such balance!

If it looks that fast from the outside, imagine what it must be like inside the car.

Spotted on youtube: Porsche GT3 Road Challenge
996 GT3´s properly tortured.

Impressive. Looks fun. Do they get practice on the stage? Or just time to know the turns for nav?

Those GT3 rally drivers are just as good, hauling a rear engine car with much more power then these e30 m's sideways through small streets/mud/snow and ice LOL !

Yes, they go through it with other car but not at race speed and then they make "notes" which the co-driver then read during the stages.
