I didn't read the whole thread, but you can't possibly be in the right gears based on how long it takes you to get to the shift points...a Carerra ain't that slow. Having a passenger doesn't help either -- in my car at the Glen every 100lbs of ballast is roughly a second.

Did I say that? I read that in Speed Secrets #3 I think... and Colin pulls NO punches, not nice like me..

I can't wait till 4/12. I hope I can get a Summit pro to ride with me as I have so many different approaches in my head I want to run by someone as we go. I'm thinking a left foot brake in T3 (up over the left hand crest) for one.

According to a famous "unnamed" source of this forum, LFB is adviceble in many of the fast corners at Summit Point.....

I tried a few, but I was really going too slow to really benefit from it....

I don't remember having to break "partially" for any corner besides T3 but I only ran there 2 days. T1 was threshold, I was flat to T3, flat through T4 and hard into T5, throttle steer through the carousel and back flat until T11 as I remember. Maybe there was a touch at T9? I seem to remember a lift but it's been a year. I really look forward to being schooled there as both NASA and PCA have Fall dates..

Oh yes, I forgot, you have Hoosiers on.....

T4, T9 and T10 could benefit from a little LFB, but what do I know? I was really there for one day.....

Hard to believe but I was beings serious! I don't remember perfectly but I do know I was flat from the left hander (T3), through that little right kink (T4?) and braked into T5. I remember someone telling me it was a "throwaway" corner but I also remember liking the way my car could rotate into it and power out and through the carousel (T6). As long as I exited well T7-9 were a given and then it was flat until T11 and a fast entry on to that super-long straight. I REALLY liked that track, even thought the bumps in T1 and T5 were nasty, can't wait to run again!
