Default Mid-Ohio Drivers Education Event May 3rd and 4th

OK,

Who all is going.

This is going to be a great event. Fred Baker Porsche Audi is sponsoring the event. There are some fantastic graphics for the t-shirts and there is a lot of fun planned. It is always a good event for beginers who are just starting out all the way to racers who want to dust off the cobwebs two weeks before the mid-ohio club race. Last year one run group was all first timers, so if you are new to track events, you are welcome.

I hear that the event is filling nicely, so if you want to get in, you need to get you application in soon. Last Octobers event that was put on by Northern Ohio Region was as much like a car show as a Drivers Ed event, so even if you do not run, stop on in and take a look a the cars.

All marques are invited to take part in the event. This is NOT a Porsche only event.

If you need to get an application or for contact information, you can go here:

http://www.norpca.org/drivered.html

Drop a line here if you are coming. Lets get a roll call going.

Thanks

Ed Baus

I never miss the NOR events if possible. Last year was poorly attended, which gave those of us there a ton of track time.

+1 on NORPCA being a great group to run with. However I'm out of town for that event so I'm doing the MOR event a couple of weeks later.

+2. NORPCA is also one of my favorite groups... very laid back with a wide variety of cars. Unfortunately, the club race DE fit better into my schedule this year so I'm going to miss you guys. Have a great weekend.

I'll be there - great way to start off the season. Hopefully I can get my act together and get the racecar ready for shakedown.

I should be able to make it. I need to order a set of tires and obtain a new exhaust in the meantime.

I am looking forward to it. Not sure if I am going to be bringing my wifes new (to us) E36 M3 or the 911. The weather has been getting better and better around here.

I really have to change that avatar. That car was sold, painted, and sold again over the last year. Of course, my car is going to be a bit different color too. (going to be gel coat grey if I can not pull it together before this weekend)

I am very tempted. +1 on NORPA at M-O being a great event. Have to juggle some schedules to make it this May.

Someone here should set up a Rennlist get-together during this event.

We could do that. How do you do that.

I am sure that we could arrange for a spot in the paddock.

My car choice is really up in the air now. I broke my oil pump in half at last weeks NASA event. Now I need to get the motor apart, swap the pump, and put it all back together.

Still not too late. Still room.

Isn't that warm weather making you think about coming.

I need to change my avatar. Anyone have a pic of my new car.

btw, new pump is in. Closing up the motor now. Going to pop in the car Sunday after I come back from Hershey
