He also was one of only a handful of US drivers ever invited to compete for the UPS Porsche Junior team (2000). Barber Rookie of the year (1999). And in his first race in an RSR (2008 Twelve Hours of Sebring) he was running in the top three in class.

Ya know I like a beer and a TVP steak, I love the smell of tire smoke in the morning, and funloving talented guys like Leh and Roger.......I love hearing what you guys take from living the dream.
I also get the promotion thing, the sport we all love needs as much as it can get.

HOWEVER I get the same feeling from that vid as I get watching the asswipes in Iraq when it all goes terribly wrong and then we all say what the he!! were they thinking??!!

Jeez,
Since when did everyone become a bunch of tight a$$es. (not you, Leh) Loosen up!!!!!! I have full confidence in Bryce and Roger's ability to handle their cars on cold tires. Let them and the spectators have a little fun without all the scorn. I personally have never seen cup car drag race a street car... on the street... in Manhattan until now. We all know its a silly matchup but it was, at the least, mildly entertaining. And if you're honestly so concerned about the dangers around cars, HP, and people, maybe racing isn't the sport for you. If you're concerned about the cheapening of the brand - petition Porsche to discontinue the Cayenne and the Panamera. And if you're sour Bryce has fans - I don't know what to tell you, the kid is pretty darn good behind the wheel of any class of 911.

If the police weren't involved it wouldn't have been cool, but since they were and they OK'ed it then it looked like good times. Also, I hope you got some heat into the oil (forget the tires) before you did that. How cold was it?

Try pulling any of that crap at any racetrack in the country and you'll be scorned, banished and punished, and since FL and Grand Am are representing the racing community at that event I think it's totally out of line and degrading to the sport..

Best said by someone above..

its rice
its boring
crap id expect from 18 yr olds in hondas

Are you serious Rick? What crap are you referring to? You've never seen dougnuts at a race track? That is just laughable.
