Default Malaysia F1 Race Thread

Where is Mr. Cut and Paste, A. Wayne? It's 6 hours before the 2nd practice on SPEED and there is not 1 preview, prediction, bet, or anything else on this race!!! Did he shoot his wad up last week and has to nap?

Weather reports anticipate heavy showers.

Wonder how the Ferrari engines will do this time??? Fun to read all the black helicopter types talking about how all the Ferrari engines blew because of the McLaren built ECU's- in some ways they have a point. One team building a common ECU all the other teams HAVE to use?? It does sound like an advantage...

Stayed up last Saturday night to watch the first race but I think this one is on even later and I have to get up early Sunday to run in a race- may have to TIVO this one...

(yes I LOVE no TC too)

LOL, everyone acts like it's McClarens fault their ECU's were chosen, I guess Ron Dennis made them pick it, and Hamilton gets to write the Ferrari programs and edit them before every race.

HAHAHAHAH

Italian engine, English electronics and Microsoft software. What could possibly go wrong?

I know it's not the ecu but who put the pit lane rev limiter in a place where a driver could hit it on the front straight?

McLaren did that too!

It's not so much about the location, other teams have it in same or similar location but their pit lane speed limiter doesn't activate in high speeds.
Why McLaren, after Hamilton fiasco in Brazil, didn't change thiers to do the same as other teams do is beyond me.

Perhaps Sir Wayne is in the Fernando Alonso and/or Lewis Hamilton (he can't decide which driver is his 'binky') Memorial Man-Cave, having strategy meetings prior to the start of the GP?

Just a guess.....I feel a bit lost without him here in the forum.

All I know is that these threads, even the ones started by A.Wayne, are better when I have him on my ignore list.

I can't wait for another round. Two weeks in a row is a great way to prime the pump of F1 interest! You can bet that Ferrari will have that fuel problem fixed, but beyond that, how much development can be done in the span of three days? The big difference will be a track that is much different than Albert Park.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Exploding brake disks!

Blowing engines! - it LOCKED UP on one - TWO SIEZED F-motors

DC did a jump, but it TOOK THE CAR apart!

I feel almostguilty that the excitement is not from racing. I am sure that will change on race...night/day, but...

My theory - F is trying to build a case of conspiracy about the ECU.
