IMO it wasn't that bad, if you're on your slow down lap (and for the above mentioned reasons, obviously driving slow), you can't just disappear so this kind of things will happen. And at that point there were others on that section too, so for Kovalainen & Hamilton to move over wasn't such a simple task (that little straightaway is very short and you can't just all of a sudden "change lanes").
I almost wrote that but since it goes without saying (Sr. in deed was quite the drover), I skipped it.

Yeah, for you lefties it's a no brainer...
I'm on the borderline here... Should I stay or should I go?
Well, me and Mr. Patron will make a decision at some point, at the moment it very much looks like we're watching it live (and there's no napping before)...

For Kimi to have qualified .5 off of Massa, I have to image he has an additional 2 laps of fuel more than Massa.
The Ferrari cars love these traditional style of tracks vs. Albert Park last week. The next race in Bahrain is also a traditional style of track and they should do well again.....baring any ECU, fuel, valve, problems.
From Hamiltons 9th position, he should be able to move up the field on this wide track. Of course, he has to get by Alonso in doing so and we'll see how wide Alonso makes his car when the McLarens come to pass him.
