It would be blasphemy for Indy to schedule a Club Race. They're only interested in high profile major media events and I can't even imagine what it would cost to rent the place, I'm sure it's not even offered unless you are Goodyear or Firestone. Having said that of course we'd all love it. And there will be three configurations to the track by the time MotoGP is there, they're configuring another counter-clockwise version for that event.

Was throwing the idea out to see if it has been done or feesable due to the venue. I have a place an hour south of the track and thought it would be great to do. Do you think that Tony would even entertain such an event?

Maybe Tony George is looking for some supplemental income to keep the IRL afloat, after losing the F1 race.

Advanced DE, I'm there (sorry, don't race), no matter what the cost.

And I three, count me in. I always figured the clubs had already asked and been turned down. You might contact Central Indiana Region PCA first as they might be able to save you some trouble.

I wanted to bring this post back to see if anything is happening with this. Is National looking at this....a Club Race there would be way cool. How do we help make this happen? What did we do to finally get to Daytona, anybody know?

Cost? Are you kidding? Tony could comp you guys and it wouldn't be more than a rounding error in the whole IRL fiasco.

Would be nice to see you guys out there pull it off!
