I think I called him that in sarcasm after giving him a hard time here for some reason or other, deserved or not....and it stuck!

It all started before a TWS DE event last year, Cupcake objected to the event running CW. He wanted some practice for the March club race running CCW. Since TWS wasn't finished w/ T4 mods, IIRC the event was actually CCW direction.

Come to think of it, Cupcake objects to a lot of things. Wait until all of these TX Spec Box start swarming around him like locusts. He thought it was bad at ECR.

Off to MSR on Friday to go take a spin in the TOPP Racing Spec Box. Figure I should know how to drive one of those mid-engined things...

Correction, I was bitching about the $15 charge to drop your trailer at TWS the night before the DE. So yes, in retrospect it was a very trivial thing to complain in an open public forum about so if the worst I get out of it is a cute nickname then so be it.

Spec Boxster.......whatever.........there will never be as many of them as there are 911's so we'll see who swarms who. Hopefully there will be so many of them they will get moved up to run with the Cup Cars.

Wasn't this a trailer thread?
Cake out.

See, you bitch about a lot of things, how can we keep track of them all

Yes, I do hope to be reunited with my trailer and post a pic. It sounds like my trailer may need a serious bleach treatment though...

Noby: Glad to hear your trailer was recovered

Cake: Nice trailer. When did you pick it up?

I got a trailer a couple of weeks ago. It is not as pimp as Cake's, but at least I do not have to drive my car to the track anymore.

Weenie dogs and race cars, what a combo!

I picked it up about 4 weeks ago. I know I was supposed to give you a shout but I took my brother the big rig driving instructor with me for help and he was pressed for time so I couldn't do too much screwing around. Plus I was very nervous pulling that rig and wasn't in much of a mood for socializing anyway. It's all good now though. It only took me about 20 minutes to back it into it's current parking spot.

It tows like a dream, also Im sure you can tell from the wheel base, and overall length, that you really have to plan your turns, parking etc.

Bringing this thread back to life. A family member offered to give me a 2001 Dodge 3500 15 passenger van with the 5.9 liter. Would this make for a good, safe tow vehicle? I plan to pull an 18 ft open steel trailer with a 2800 lb car. The storage capacity would be nice to have.
