Hey Datax,

Great photos! Any picts of my poor little number 27? I was running in red. She's not too pretty but she goes pretty good for a 99 C2. :-)

Overall it was a great weekend and lots of fun cars to run with. In Red, there were some FAST cars in the Sub GT3/Turbo/GT2 class! HAHA!

" Here's more. I just noticed Dell is in a lot of pictures even though picture is taken for other cars. lol "

If Dell would just stop lapping everone he wouldn't be in all those picture.

Dell, I was parked right across from the gas pumps. With my student and my mother both in blue it was a busy weekend. Unless I ran into someone while running around i didn't get a chance to meet many new faces. Next time!

Did not happen to me, but it did happen to my son driving my car in the white group on Friday in to turn one. If he was the one passing without a signal he would have been more severely berated than the instructor.

That not withstanding any weekend at VIR is a great weekend. Great to se many Rennlisters and track buds.
I was just kidding but you are absolutely right. I wouldn't do or condone that especially will giving a student a ride-along. Sounds like your son had several new experiences in turn 1. It also sounds like he did a great job bringing it to a stop with no brakes. Glad to see he came out unscathed, he was droving it really well when I was out there with him.

Great weekend, except for the busted trans and early departure Saturday PM. Good to meet you,
}{arlequin (I bummed a smoke). Great hanging with Ted and Mat, Josh, and BKS. Congrats to BKS on new personal best and to Josh on his ridiculous lap time and beautiful car. Fla. crew had quite the setup and one of their mechanics was very helpful with some 911SC advice. Thanks to Gregg Wilson for his advice also.

Good to see Matt C, Matt E, and Dell.

Kudos to my student, Joe Lajoia (sp?), who has a great car and significant skills, and is a really nice guy.

Big thanks to Manny and the crew for putting on a great event.

great to meet you too don. sorry ab the trans issues. make sure you put up your findings as to what went wrong. might be something that can happen to anyone and i'd like to keep an eye on things, or even prevent it if possible.
