...But, some sections deteriorated, and those sections were repaved just before last weekends Car Guys event.

If you remember all the old concrete patches, the "new" asphalt from last fall wasn't sticking to it as well as intended and that's what has been recently replaced (stripped out all the asphalt, broke out the underlying concrete, and then repaved with new asphalt and sealed)... so if you used the patches as road maps to the line, they're back... just with seamed-in asphalt...
Hope they weren't out there gluing the pieces together with Lowes Roofing Tar again....
Hey, make fun all you want (I certainly did) but the surface they put down last fall was/is seriously fast... and although the transitions from the new patches can be felt, it's still got a ton of grip and remains very quick...
My car is at Dan Jacobs for an oil leak on the sump - its going to be very close as to whether it is ready in time for tomorrow to be able to make the journey down. Fingers crossed it will be done as I am sooooooooooo looking forwards to it!!!
