Race ready for any track?
Is the car fully caged, fire suppression system, etc?
I can't tell from the pics.

How does it compare to a Cup Car? Obviously, a Cup cannot be driven on the street, but the price is similar for both.

Conventional wisdom (from what I've read on this forum) says that one can recoup only 30-40% of the cost of the mods one puts into a car. What was your mod total?

Thanks,
Adam

Well considering that this car is MSRP 126k, and selling it 8 over, my MSRP was 138K, and with the mods, puts it right at 165K. So no price over MSRP, and it can be tracked ASAP. Also, i did not complete the full cage, that was going to be the next step, and it does not have the fire ex, system yet either. I said in the ad, almost rsr ready. Brian

Let people think what they will, I do not care, cars are fun, incredible experiences, but a must not have. It sells or not. If any out there has a 997, and want the best track addiction car, they will also invest what I have invested. Makes no difference for me, if you are running the track, and worried about money, you should not be on the track then! It's amazing, I spend most of my time in Iraq, doing what I do, and then I come back to simply want to sell my car and move on to something that captures my interest and passion, and get grief from people on Rennlist like a wife would because they don’t like the price, (if I had a wife of course ;-). WOW, pretty comic to say the least!!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU DON’T LIKE THE PRICE, SCREW YOU.... At least I am not some assho#$ dealer jacking the price up 10K or 15K over MSRP just to make profit..... I’m glad I am going back over to Iraq; at least I can see my enemy!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol, what a joke..............

you seem to be taking this the wrong way. All people are saying is that your pricing of beyond market value by a fair margin. I would see it as advice nothing else.

I agree with constaf. IF someone were looking to do EXACTLY what you did in a car that was EXACTLY what you have, then maybe it would be considered. But that is alot of IF's. The other fact is that you have impacted the warrantee by replacing the flywheel.

Not to turn this into a political discussion, but since you brought it up... If it was so easy to see your enemy in Iraq, we'd be in a different situation over there. That being said, lay down your guns soldier, you're no longer in a combat zone. People are giving you (good IMO) advice. No need for you to to be stand off-ish.

I am going to stop right now, before i do get mad! good luck for you all, comment all you want!!!!!!! If you dont have anything good to say, keep it in your little mouth!!!!!!!!!! unless you want to visit me, and we can have some coffee, and be "Friends" I look at all your comments, and all (most) i see is the negative side of allot of you, some are positive and give the "hey good luck" "great car", and then there are the rest that all they can do is comment on what they feel, and it comes out negative as most people are, !!!!!!! "Put my weapons down soldier", i am not a soldier any more, Army Special Forces, now operating as civilian with Special Operations, and i go back to "Combat zone" shortly. So i am very stand offish when i read this bull**** on how people feel, and how they give their ****ty negative opinion!!!!!! i guess thats what is great in America, right!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, thats enough for me.... on to real issue.............
