Geez Alan, sounds like your student didn't like you very much.

You might be right; but, it was an experienced White group driver who asked me to ride along for some track pointers. He was in a borrowed car and I was CI so it could have been some form of insurrection.

Seriously, can one of these be installed quickly before a session or is it more practical to install it and leave it there for the weekend? I plan some impromptu ride alongs this year.

That's about right. Very quick to install and remove. The only thing is that it will probalby leave a very small mark where it's attached. A very **** student might mind that. Of course they might like it if you were to bring one for them also.

I use CG Locks on both seats and I would not drive a DE with out one. Also since I do not have left leg to help hold me into the seat the CG-Lock is a god send for me at a DE and AutoX.

While it is quick to install and will get quicker, a small allen key is necessary.

Screwdriver? I never used a screwdriver to install. I used the small allen key they provided with the CG Lock and installed both locks in under 5 min easy.

I used the CG Lock for 2 DE days until I switched out my OEM seats to my GT3 seats and 6 pts on my 993tt. Works great with the OEM seats and seat belts.

So now I have one mint used CG Lock and one new CG Lock.
