That's funny Gregg
How much is the cost? Is the charge per car or per second? Can a place a deposit for a couple races this summer? I don't want someone else using your services against me!

It's all fun!

John: Hupfer IS #79, Tim Costa is in the 964 C2

Actually Joe, I probably owe you. Thanks for neutralizing Hupfer enabling me to take the F class win. That's probably the only way I'll ever beat him.

Looks to me like Oscar (black 964) drove perfectly well. You can't expect someone to just pull over in the middle of the switchbacks 2-3-4 at Putnam. He let them by just fine. Certainly didn't look like he was unaware or something.

You're very welcome Jim! If you'd like you can just pay Gregg directly.

Please don't expect the same sort of "help" in the future. It's too bad you're car is not the equal to Hupfer's. If it was, you'd give him a really good race.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't know that Hupfer has EVER been beaten on the track by another F car. He's obviously failed to finish some races, but of the ones he's finished without car trouble, has anyone ever beat him?

Default Clean pass allowance

If you want to see an absolutely perfect, heads-up, execution of allowing lapping cars through, see the video at 12:50. Joe finishes T4 and hangs to the right longer than he normally would to allow all 3 of us to pass to his left before T5. I don't know if he had to brake a little earlier than normal, but I'm sure it cost him no more than 1/2 second.

Thanks Joe

How do you mean?
Are you serious?

Let's see....hmmm...two cars exit the final corner of Putnam. Both share the same exit speed. The F car is in front. The E (factory RACE car) is behind. The F car pulls away by a few car lengths. Either the PCA has the classification wrong here or the car in front is stronger off the corner. I KNOW the F car driver is really good but that doesn't compute in this situation because the corner speeds are the same. Aren't GREAT drivers meant to extract just that bit more corner speed than others? Oh, hold on...I've got it wrong...Joe: you need to put your foot FULLY down on the accelerator pedal when you exit a turn. Racing 101. That's it! Silly me.

That's an excellent question. I've been following F class pretty closely since around 2002, and barring car trouble or weight DQ's I don't think he's ever been beaten.

Yes, let's stop arguing about your special ability to stop in the grass and talk about what REALLY matters to all of us: "Special talents vs. Special cars"

When that gets all fired up I'll post another video that will have you all choking on your popcorn

Everyone should race with NASA, post their dyno numbers on Rennlist and be done with it (yes I know people can get around the dyno numbers and cheaters will find a way to cheat)
