Anyone using these tires and have any feedback?
Thinking of running them this year.

I ran them last season on my 911S3.6. The car is fairly light at 2280 lbs dry, and the previous tires, MPSC's did not heat up enough except in 90 degree weather at Road America. I found these to be better in the sense that they got up to temps quickly, and maintained a steady pressure once they were adjusted from the first few cold laps. Wear was a little quicker than the Michelins-in my case, they corded right about the time they heat cycled out. Driving on them, they talked to you a little bit before letting go, and when they do let go, it is progressive, not a snap. Comparatively, I shaved 2 seconds off my lap times at HPT over the Michelins. Nightmare in the rain!
These tires are run a lot on the Lotus Elise and Exige, again, they are also light cars. No experience with them on a heavy 911, but i would venture to guess the MPSC's would be better.
I am considering the Toyo R888 this season to compare, as many on this forum raved about the RA-1.
Hope this helps,
Nick

They don't compare well to the other DOT-R compound tires.

They offer them in a medium hard compound in the heavier 911 sizes, which is why I'm considering them.

The NT-01 are decent on the 911, for the money they are hard to beat. They have seemingly unlimited rear grip, but the steering in very numb compared to sport cups, they are about a second slower for me at Road Atlanta than the MPSC. They may be closer shaved. I really dont like the turning aspect at all, but unless you are pushing limits, you wont notice.

hi.
i run the Yokos (hard compound) as my year round tire on my 2003 Mitsu EVO. the car, with me in it is around 3425lbs. the tires are not a 'fast' r compound; i'd instead categorize them as an 'ultra ultra high perf street tire'. i typically can get about 15k street miles, and a few track weekends out of a set, before they cord. i have run the older 032R also, and don't really see much of a diff between the two. btw, my tire size is 235-45-17, on all four corners.
at full tread depth, they are good in the rain. for a street tire, they are awesome in the dry. compared to any other R tire i have used, though, they are slower (i've run Toyo RA-1s, BFG-R1s, Kumho 700s and 710s, Hankook Z211s and Z214s, and practically every Hoosier from the S03 on up).
for real door to door racing, they are not too good. for DEs, they are an excellent value, especially in the harder compound.
good luck!
