*SOLD*: 2005 SEAL GRAY GT3 ** SOLD **
After giving it much thought I have decided to part ways with this great car and begin searching for a nice used cup car. I love tracking so much and was contemplating a cage and such for the car but just can't make myself do it to this beauty.
2005 Seal Gray
-7232 miles Factory Warranty through 6/9/2009
-I am the second owner (1st owner fellow Rennlister) and bought with 3389 miles. I have the inspection from that purchase including DME printout.
-You can do an advanced search for a thread titled "2005 GT3" to see what all the car had when I bought it. (Summary: console delete, DAS bar, custom drop links, custom adjustable toe arms and custom adjustable upper control arms by Jon Groom Racing, lightweight flywheel, 3M protection.)
-Other things added: By Synergy Racing, Kinetic Speed Shop and 3G Motorsports at different times.
1. Brembo Floating hats up front. 3rd set of rotors on current hats. Cup rotors in the rear.
2. PFC 97s all around
3. Fabspeed bypass pipes. I still have the original mufflers boxed up.
4. New lower Porsche Motorsport control arms Part # 996-341-053-91
5. All rubber bushings changed out to solid to include Delrin sway bar bushing.
6. Moton triple adjustable shocks with quick disconnect at all 4 corners and custom mounting. Shocks just rebuilt by Nathan McBride prior to placement in June 07.
7. Eibach springs. 1300lb front 1100lb rear after consultation with pro driver and Kinetic Speed shop owner Nic Jonnson. ( Sounds weird but IT WORKS!)
8. Custom flat black grill inserts fabricated and installed.
9. New windshield with 2 layer windshield tear offs.
10. GT3 seats installed. Original sport seats (never used) in my attic.
11. All fluids changed religiously (Mobil-1 motor oil and gear oil changed, Castrol SRF).
12. Nittos currently on car purchased 4/07 with VERY LITTLE use
13. Extended the 3M protection over more of the car.
14. Current setup done Oct. 07 in consultation with pro driver David Murry who I hired for coaching and setup help at the Synergy Fall Fling.
As you can see much work has been done to make this car well suited for the track. When I purchased it at 3389 miles, the previous owner had only 5 track days. I have put almost 4k miles on her since with most of those on the track. You should not have to do anything else to the car in regards to track prep.
I love this car and have put much time and money into making her a perfect wolf in sheep's clothing. Beautiful Seal Gray color and in looking at the condition of the car you would be surprised to know that she is tracked but tracked she is and I would not have had it any other way!
I also have a set of Fikse motorsport 3 piece wheels, and a JIC Cross Competition suspension that was originally on the car that I can work into the sell - but the car as is will be listed as such:
PRICE = $78,000

Chris,
If I could, I would buy your car in a heart beat! It's one of the best I know of. Not only is it one of the best cars out there, it is driven by one of the best out there!
Good luck in finding a cup car.

Thanks Arnie but those comments should be reserved for those who really can drive. I am just a dude having fun out there.
Richard: It is indeed Phil's old car. He sold it to me looking for a cup and now I am doing the same. Whoever buys it better beware as there seems to be a curse on it in those regards.

Andy,
No kidding!
I'm seriously thinking of North Carolina in a few more years, like the Ashville area. Several of my friends have retired to the Carolinas (and my best friend is now in Tennessee). Neighbors are friendly and the pace is a tad slower, which suits me just fine these days.

We love NC. One of the best thing for us is that we are 45min. from VIR, drive all day, home for dinner on the deck with our driving buddies and back to VIR in the morning. And it sure beats 20 below in NH.
