Good stuff. I was a little surprised the Yellow GT3 didn't throw a pass for the Vette. They seemed very evenly matched with the GT3 pulling away a bit through roller coaster and down through turn one and the vette would claw it all back by oak tree. Although the vette never tucked right up under the GT3s bumper, I'd have thrown the pass just to see what the vette was doing. But I'm pretty passive at DEs. Either way, it looked like everybody was having fun.

yup, jody is FAST and also, IIRC its no longer a T1 spec vette. I think he removed the carpet for ST-2 with nasa. But i could be wrong, either way good video.

That video shows the opposite of what I would expect. The GT3 seems to pull way ahead on the straights and get reeled in on the twisty bits.

He is a great guy. I ran with him at VIR two years ago when I first got my 993. He had so much fun, he sent me a video chasing me around the track. Everytime I would line up, he was would pull right behind me and tell me I was the "rabbit" he wanted to catch. I don't think I could keep up with him now unless I put a 3.8 in the back.

Yup, Jody's racing in NASA ST2 now. The car is still pretty much stock T1 specs, and he's still running it as such, right down to the paper air filter, according to him! He's a heck of a sportsman and a great guy to hang in the pits with!

The Vette did not get close enough to merit a point by. The GT3 was in no way holding up the Vette.

Yup, Jody said he had nothing for them. He was just happy to be running those laps with such good guys... He is a "car" guy at heart and just had a ball!
