Enclosed trailer car tie-down suggestions (current method needs to go!)

+1 on the autometrics tow rings; they work great with my lowered 993. I met a guy with a lowered gt3 with the autometrics hooks at Roebling, and he was happy with them.

I use the Autometrics hooks on my Cup car. They are SO much easier to deal with. They are a bit low in front though for the Cup. Mine are ground down and bent a little due to the curb in turn 1 at the Glen and from driving on a flat front tire and dragging one hook as the opposite rear wheel came of the ground around some turns at CMP. (Don't ask.....) But all in all I really like them. The left reat hook is close to the oil line coming out of the bottom of the oil tank, but I just twist the strap away from it and it works great.

Matt, are you going to be out at the track this weekend or next? I didn't see you this past weekend at the member day. I'd like to see how you have them setup.

I use the factory tabs in the front (that have been reinforced) and the shock bolt that goes into the rear trailing arm (it gives a straight pull back to the tie-downs). I don't know how I could strap down through the wheels unless my tie-downs were outboard of the car.
