its always interesting listening to the commentary on the audio!
Yeah, that was Rick. We talked about lunch, video cameras, Formula 1, and oh yeah, whether or not to upshift between 4 and 5... like right as we came up on you again from 2 thru 5...

It got a lot of exercise in a few of those sessions...
Mine feels very rested. Guess that's what happens when you bring a Howitzer to a knife fight

Seriously, everyone did a great job giving me point bys this weekend. It was much more enjoyable then the last time I tried to DE @ MSR

You know, I didn't get passed once the entire time. You two for some reason were always either in front of me or half way around the track. I didn't like the way Jan sent us out. Always in the same order. I asked her to mix it up but she threw some real bad attitude and sent us out last again. Oh well......

I actually had a bad experience with point by's. I would get them when I would be something like 5 car length back and no run on them. I would see the arm so early, I didn't know what to do. It's not as if I could give it more gas....

You are such a ding dong. It is virtually impossible to observe/critique someone else's line from 1 car length back. By staying back ~3-5 car lengths, I was able to observe the improvements you made in 1-2, the grip you were able to get in 6, 11, and 13, etc., all of which I believe I mentioned after we got off track.

Here's another of your "exrercise" shots from the early wet session on Sunday. I've got another one too, I'll have to find it.

I tried to give you point bys early so you never had to miss a beat, although that's not always possible. It's fun following you... for, maybe, one corner.

Geez Dave, remember that the intraweb is serious business.

+1. Yeah, I'd see Jay coming out of 6 as I was half way to 7, and I'd stick my arm out (and not lift), and he'd still get by!!

Jay, amazingly enough, even Jim Buckley didn't pass you!

Greg.....you are so easy. Like throwing chum into a shark tank.

Chris, it would be my pleasure. I usually instruct most Maverick & Lone Star PCA events.

Ok, one long video and I'm off to bed. Here is my 40 (something) minute session (325 mg) the first day feeling the track out:

Lot's of f'ups and some cool power slides.
