Maybe I should sell off the tranny and the pss9's, get some motons and give it a go. I know you are having a blast.

Jamie,

Motons will set you free, but plan on quite a few DE's to get them set up correctly. Fairly steep learning curve.

Club racing is so much freakin' fun. I hope to be at Thunderbolt for the first race.

My car is similar, Stock cup RSR etc....... It is a blast to drive. If the car is really nice it is worth every penny.

It would not cost that much to put back to stock.. I have all the parts to do mine. Including the Turnwald wing I found in the back of a shop in Europe....I fugured I have $15K in to return to stock.... Another $10K in paint and assembly. Some day the car will be worth north of $100K If not who cares. There is something special about a factory Porsche race car in my book....

They only made 40 or so 993 cup cars a year, most have been damaged. If the tub on this car is good, it would be a great car to enjoy, and then restore.

In Europe a stock 993 cup in good shape is $80,000 Euro's. A good one is over $100,000.

Buy it you won't be sorry....If I had any extra $$ lying around I would...

Chris,

I may be considering swaping out my tranny. I will let you know if I go that route.

Doing some research now and may decide to make some major changes to the car this winter.

Cheers,

Jamie

Nice, a CMGi car. It must be nearly worthless now. I'll give you $5 for it.

Looks like nice paint but it's obviously going to take a lot to make it track worthy... i'll trade ya even for my Cheeto Turbo.

Tim's car is a great value out there and needs a nice home. It is another example of a non factory built race car, built as good as the factory and with race history. It is priced right for what you get.
