Thanks, i was happy to see the old dog still be able to get a 1:39.1 race lap.
the vipers will be a little shocked when Mark Anderson and Joe fan, bring their 6.5 liter 928s to the next race. you should come up for the race, you would have some fun! heck, its laguna and 103db!! up to 3 races too!!

Just found an AMAZING way to video my track time. this is the eRACING motorsports "Hero" video camera. its the size of a buisness card and holds 50mins of DVD quality video and then plugs directly into the computer for watching or the TV directly with a supplied cable. More soon!
All for around $150
The video here has been reduced in quality for Youtube, but this is the race start and restart.

Ouch, ITE populated by monster race cars. What's the SCCA going to do about the more modern SWC/GA/etc cars? Was this weekend an anomaly?

they are making the rules a little more clear about "production" vehicles. GA wont be an issue, as long as we are talking about Koni cup, which are right in line with our times (our cars are just a little older ) . it should be curtains for the comp coupe, as it has been in years past, and certainly the GT3 cup car or Panos. yes, the weekend was an anomaly, but sure was fun. Kind of reminded me of World challenge, but i was able to make the top 5 this time!

Wow,
how does a car weighing 2400lbs with only 250hp get pole aginst all those monster cars?( In know he's fast. One of our fastest drivers in Spec 911, but he's down at least 100hp to everyone else)
Was Robert Wardlow there as well? didn't see him in your vid. (you probably kept him behind you. 0
anyway. good race

did you not see the little honda 4 cylinder 2 liter blow by Gamroth? the porsche was 3rd for a while, unitl unfortunately, he ended up into the wall on his own. behind him were cars with 10:1 HP to weight, and not the 9.5:1 power to weight of Jeffs little 911. having a 2400lbs car with driver is about 600lbs less than my weight, and 800lbs less than the C5 corvette with 390rwhp and 3250lbs. remember, you need to stop and corner, and those to MAJOR attributes are uneffected by HP! I tried every thing i could do in the first race to keep jeff off me, but he actually pulled me on the straights as well as equaled or slightly exceeeded my braking points and corners speeds. proof was in the times. his best was about a second faster than our times (vet and me) and equal to one of the vipers. the other two vipers were quite a bit faster (2 to 4 seconds faster), but they started in the back, pulled out, or got popped for noise.

A picture is worth......
Anyway, yes, this is Jeff's car. Looks like its a writeoff.
However, even though the frame is really bent in the back, it looks like the damage is behind the wheels. maybe they can pull it straight as it may only be the area that is after the wheels. I would be curious to see what happens. sure, a new tub is the way to go, but Jeff had this chassis dialed in pretty well!
all that cage work, etc. That really sucks!

That really sucks. I hit that very wall in the exact same way, except the shot was in the right rear more than the left rear. Frame was easy ($500) to pull, though.
