SICK!!!! Over 170 on the straight, over 160 on another and 140 on a short straight.. had to wonder who was driving. Then I saw it was Fast Phil Currin and it all makes sense. Used to autocross with him, he's always flat out with no fear.

Yeh...

With about $30k in modern chassis and brake upgrades, I'd imagine. "Anything" can be fast with enough money in it.

Pretty neat just the same.

It was funny when I watched it for the first time and saw that he was coasting in places that I have my foot to the floor... then I looked at the spedometer and realized he was going 30 to 40 MPH than me !!

HA !

Actually it was a 2 flat which is about what a street GT3 would run with slicks.

Still, guys got big brass ones.

JayssusMary&Joseph that's fast.

Car pics: http://glennbunch.com/ Looking at them I think there's a) no worry about 30 year old stock brakes or chassis and 2) more than 30 grand in upgrades ;-)

Dude, you need to come and demonstrate this! No offense, but I have my doubts. I ran 2:05's with my street 996 GT3 on slicks (which I wish I never sold!). I know someone better than me could do better, but I would be in awe of a 2:00 in a street GT3! A pro driver did 2:05's with me in the car with him. I am sure he held back a little, but he sure was working hard! I would guess a 2:03, MAYBE 2:02 is achievable, but 2:00 flat? I need some instruction from you - seriously!
