Jim sure knows his way around that track!

I managed a 4th place in TTB; given that this was my first trip to Mid-O, I'm not dissapointed.

It was great to meet all the RL's, thanks for all of your help with the lines!

Thanks. It was a great weekend. The car ran flawlessly all four days. In Sunday's championship race I lost a spot to Jeff Curtis's 911 at the start and I chased him hard for the first 12 laps. At the same time I was under extremely hard pressure from Carle Picelle's 944 and Mike Ward's 968. On the 13th lap Jeff Curtis got held up a bit as he was lapping a slower car. That enabled me to get a run on him, and we went side by side through turn 11, Thunder Valley, turn 12 and turn 13. Somehow I managed to exit turn 13 in the lead. From there I was able to hold Jeff off, and he was able to hold Carl off. Jeff finished .7 seconds behind me, and Carl finished .7 seconds behind him.

It was a good day for the Porsches. They took the top four spots in GTS2, the top two spots in GTS1, the top two spots in GTS4, and the top three spots in GTS5. Only in GTS3 did the Porsches come up short. That class was swept by BMW's.

I'll toot John H's horn for him... He had a smoke'n run from starting 43 to take the GTS4 champs. Not sure what his finish was over-all, but he could've taken the over-all race if started furthur up in pack.

Nice run to Jim and other p-drivers!

Regarding super unlimited, there was a GT3R that lead the first few laps, but was over taken by a few Radicals and Stohr. It was cool watch'n him though because every time the 3R let off the gas there were two little fire ***** hovering at the exh outlets. ...not sure if that's the normal tune or show tune, haven't seen many of them race.

Hey Rick DeMan -- Was that you I was talk'n to on Sunday afternoon? I was the guy who spent 20mins looking in the wheel wells at the car's brakes/suspension and we were talk'n about 3R brakes. Didn't dawn on me until later that it might have been you....

Thanks Joe.

I ended up fourth overall and 1st in GTS4 after starting 43rd. Made for an exciting video (at least to me). I hope to have highlight video uploaded soon.

Hey Joe,

Sure was me......nice meeting you..! That was a turbo GT3R you were seeing the fireballs from...We had a great second Qualifying race taking First overall with a best lap of 1:27.8 but broke a shifter cable 3 laps into the Feature race...BUMMER...we had a real shot at winning it all in SU..
