Jason,
Call John Wright at Wright Tuning in Batavia Ohio. John is very familar with GT2's and services a handful of them. He used to be Larry Schumacher's chief mechanic.

LOL. A street turned track 993 TT is nothing like a real factory built GT2. You could write a couple books on the differences.

A factory 993 GT2 race car is no joke and makes a 996 cup car look like a dog.

As a point of reference, a strong 993GT2 will put about 20 car lengths on a 996 Cup on a 3800 foot straight.

I got to drive one at Mid Ohio this past spring. It is a different track in the GT2.

Greg my car is very fast and has many GT2 and Motorsport parts. It's certainly not an EVO but it's way faster and handles way better than that yellow street 996 turbo. We can race if you like and see who wins.

I can pull cup cars with my TT easily , I now have a cup and i can tell you the turbo is much faster on the straights. However the cup is much faster per lap overall . It's a totally different animal. I would love to make the TT into an EVO but the cost is not worth it for me.

Just a thought. If you're looking for a genuine 993 GT2 race car - why look only in the US?

To find a clean genuine $200k car surely the $5k ticket to elsewhere in the world to check it out and a subsequent $10k shipping wouldn't break the bank...

Afterall there' only a few dozen real Evo's out there.
