Hobbs and Bell are a perfect duo! Bell has the modern F1 down and Hobbs's knowledge of the history/tradition of F1 and those who graced this sport.

Add Townsend but Hobbs must remain!.....Hobbs is better than my Sunday comic page!!

I like Hobbs because he is very comicall. I love Matchett because he understand the techincal aspects of the cars better than most. I don't look to matchett for driving technique stuff. I found Bell to be ok. He did get better as the weekend wore on.

A funny thing... last year I took my wife to the Italian GP. While waiting to board a plane from Franfurt to Milan I noticed a guy who looked familiar to me. Turns out I was right, it was Townsend Bell. I said hello as we walked up the stairway and boarded the plane. He was friendly and seemed glad that someone had recognized him. I watched the race on Speed yesterday and thought he offered some good inight into the cars. Sure made me wish I could be there again.

Hobbs is great. I agree his sobriety maybe questionable at times but you gotta love him. I remember the first time I saw David Hobbs, I just sat down on the grassy hill @ Lime Rock, I must have been 8 years old. Thumbing through the program, I see this guy who looks like Jim Ignatowski (Christopher Lloyd, Taxi) on crack. It was of course none other than D. Hobbs. He was driving a yellow Lola with rear wheel spats. I'll never forget it. This was just after his BMW 320 turbo days.

Classic 'clag' an 'Das ist Vorboten' comments are hilarious.

Townsend was good, strange to hear a decidedly american accent on the booth other than Varsha. He has potential.

Hobbs is the Madden of racing, we just need to get him a pen to play with on the screen.

Ah yes, totally forgot about that.

It would be fun to have Madden in the booth for an F1 race. We would lean all about how great Brett Favre would be in a Formula 1 car.
