I totally agree...I was amazed at some of the aggressive driving from the kink through Canada when we had both a car in the wall and one in the gravel trap at Canada (safety crews at both locations).

Man, I wish I'd gone (especially since my weekend plans ended up falling through).

Leading up to the weekend, a friend kept asking me to go out there with them. They did the DE - up until the car locked up on them. Nonetheless, they had a great time and kept commenting on the great atmosphere was at that race. I've always heard the Labor Day weekend event is not to be missed and have wanted to get out there the last couple years but just was never able to make it work. I won't make that mistake again next year. Besides, I can't let Ray be the only red Box. in attendence.

BTW, when I was considering registering, I looked at the roster. There was a crapload of cars signed up - like 180+ IIRC! At RA, doesn't that make for some pretty crowded DE sessions?

Yeah, and the list is full of GT3's and TT's. Alot of HP when you are running a 993. It is a bit intimidating but just point them by. No reason to slow up the field. I'm sure I made a few people mad but they were in the slow group with me too.

But you got thru your first RA Enduro in one piece, Oscar.

If only your pit crew had a clue .

Great picture of Rick Fischer's motor blowing up. I was far enough back that I initially thought it was multiple cars locking brakes at turn one. Unfortunately for me, I was the only one to spin on his oil. As the car came around, I was thinking "****, this is going to be expensive!". Credit to the drivers behind me for avoiding contact. Honestly, they would have forgiven considering how many cars there were and how close we were.

I love this event, I love this track, and the corner workers are the best I've ever seen. More pics and some video to come later.

here are 3. The first one is a bit fuzzy. It took me a while to find the car since the number on the car looks like 113 at first glance.
