Look forward to meeting all you guys.

Dave, any update on which direction we're going to run?

Thanks VR.

I'd actually love for you to drive my car on the track and get your feedback on the new setup, given your experience with setting up the E36 M3 and your driving experience... I'll be playing around with shock settings and (unlikely) sway bar settings. Obviously, I'm not going to touch ride height, because the car will already be aligned.

It's going to be a fun weekend...

Happy to help, if time permits.

Steve, I still don't know. Let me ask Jake if he has decided yet.

Oh, of course--I don't want to interfere with your day at all. Just if you have a few minutes...

Let's try to make it work. My suggestion: Sunday sometime. That way, you have all of Saturday to get used to the new feel, and you can better adapt anything we discuss with me behind the wheel. Just come find me sometime Saturday & remind me, please. I'm old & forgetful...

My travel plans won't leave me at home for the whole weekend, so I'm going to skip this one. I do want to put some faces to all the wisecracks I read here, so I'll try to drive out on Saturday just to meet a few of you. It's been 10 years since I've been to TWS, but I think I remember the way.

It is very likely that the work won't get finished in time to allow us to run CW. So, most likely, we will run the "normal" CCW direction this time.

Gracias. Do you think the HCR guys will try to go CW in October or will we have to wait until LSR in December?

Which is why LSR is having the track make changes to T4---so that we can run CW even in the rain.

The Driver's Edge (www.thedriversedge.net) runs CW at TWS at least once a year, sometimes twice.

We ran it CW last back in April 2007. I believe that TMS (TWS Motorsports Club) also runs the track CW from time to time, but I haven't run with that group yet.

T4 CCW (running CW)? I don't remember a problem with that, except the tire wall being a bit close. If that's it, then How do you feel about T9 CCW (running CCW)? That one likes to eat cars, and I've mowed the grass there a couple times on lap 1 cold tires!

1 week out, the weather forecast calls for Partly cloudy, high 88 both days. Sure hope that forecast holds!

I guess we are still going CCW?

The latest word (last night) from Jake Taylor is CCW, the mods on T4 are not complete. Y'all have fun and be safe.
