Default Mosport questions..

I am going to Mosport for a DE. Can any of our friends to the north tell me if there is fuel available at the track? Need to know whether I need to bring gas cans or not...

Also - any recommendations for a decent hotel near the track?

Merci beacoup!

I, and many friends, stay at the Holiday Inn in Oshawa. A little farther from the track, but full service place with Restaurant, bar/lounge, pool, etc. I will be there 7/20, 21 &22.

Gas is available at the track, and gas outside the track is a good 20 mins away.

Another five minutes west is Whitby, and there are three or four hotels there.

Just for future searchers, there is gas about 3 miles down the back road out of the track, and it is a lot cheaper than the stuff at the track. I can not comment on what octane the little shack has, but it is close. Just ask for directions.

That little shack has a max of 91. If you want 94, its either big bucks at the track (usually pump +70ish%), or the closest Sunoco, which is on the corner of Tauntin and Liberte (10 to 15min drive).

Otherwise, get 94 on 57 just off the 401.

Turbodan, there is a closer Sunoco than the one that you are talking about.

Find it here: http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=l&hl=en...2&iwloc=B&om=1

The little shack that people are talking about is around 35 and 115, just 5 minutes from the track.
