New addition to ALMS GT2

Kumho Woodhouse Viper. Drivers: SCCA drivers Cindi Lux and Stan Wilson
The Woodhouse Performance team is converting one of its World Challenge GT Vipers to GT2 specs as the team and Dodge evaluates the performance of the Viper Competition Coupe as an alternative to World Challenge so that all Viper Competition Coupes have more than one choice in professional racing.

I wish they'd run in GT1 so the corvettes had something to play with. GT1 is simply stupid in ALMS right now.

Glad to hear it for Stan Wilson. I was lucky enough to have him as an instructor at Road Atlanta in an SCCA PDX. Nice guy and a good driver. He won the Pro IT race in a Chevy Cobalt that weekend.

What a dumbass class. Two identical Vettes following each other around the track. On top of that, I can't stand the sound of them.

I would imagine the sound of fartmachine would be at least as bad as the Vettes. Am I the only one who hates hearing the Chevies at the race track? I'll throw the Panoz in there too.

I love the sound of the Corvettes and Panoz cars. I am guessing you are in the minority, but I could be wrong.

Dr. Z killed the Viper racing program several years ago.

Oreca has modified the Viper Competition Coupe to race in the GT2 class of the International GT Open.
