Great pics, Kim. I'll be there on Saturday with my son and youngest nephew. Go Porsche!

Beautiful Pictures. How did you get around the 145k image size limit? When I post I have to bump images down to 8bit 600x400.

Great pics, thanks for posting.

Nice to see the infamous LRP sound meter is going to get locked up this weekend.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Leaving for LR in a short while. Hopefully the thunderstorms will hold back.

I've been several of the folks shown in these pictures. Right now I'm that fat sweaty guy in the shorts, on his back under the Porsche front suspension. Other times I've been a white-haired team owner. Other times the tire changer, the scrutineer on the scales, the corner worker, rescue worker, the timer/stats guy, and the engine management guy, worked for promoters, ran the garage area, even a suspension setup guy.

Turns out I'm not even close to being a good race driver, so I had to find other ways to share the fun.

Thanks for sharing. I was at LRP Wednesday for the SCCA divisional race. All the haulers were in the paddock with the cars still tucked snuggly in their trailers and tents. Fun to watch the IMSA lites cars running as CSRs in the rain though...

Yeah, I didn't get any time to make custom shirts for him. But if there's a news story of a deranged Porsche fan accidentally "bumping" into Melos in the paddock, it wasn't me.

Now I'm catching on!
Hey, DrJ - look me up when you are in the car corral area . . . (except between 13:30 & 15:00)

RSKY BIZ,

Great pictures! Could you post some of VDS' Radical SR9 AER and the Mazda P2 engine?

The quietest cars (Audi) yesterday were also the fastest, go figure.

That is corners workers station #1, just after the bridge and before big bend. This photo was taken about 20' to the right and might give you a better idea of the location.

For those going today I hope the racing is good because the number of entrants is weak. I don't see how ALMS can last much longer as a spectator sport.

Great photos. Thanks for sharing them.

I've never seen so many photos of ALMS cars under work in prep for a race.
