What was that crap? Did anyone think the race at Lowes Motorspeedway was worth a damn? With those chicanes, they may as well run these cars on a autocross course and call it a world championship. And the wheel of invertment? What crap!

Someone should be out of a job for a joke of a race like that. 33% of the field DNF, 6 cars on the lead lap, required 10 minute pitstop, etc. Why didn't they just require the drivers to carry an egg on a spoon around the track while they were at it.

When I heard they were running Lowes I thought it would be great to see the road course I ran a few years ago on TV but instead we saw...I don't know what to call it...but sad.

You can lock it so we don't get 2 threads going at the same time.

Speaks volumes about how worried SCCA Pro is regarding poor TV viewership of its World Challenge races, and how out of ideas they are to jump start interest.

speak volumes of how lost scca is with their marketing , which part of their fan base would watch this crap , i currently have 2 customers in the touring class and this will be their last year due to cost vs returns , sponsors are not happy , if you are not running in the top 5 no tv coverage , i still can't see how speed has not picked up on this as yet and give eveyone in the field some coverage i'm sure they could dedicate 5 mins out of a 45 min race to show some of the field ......

Speed TV essentially dropped World Challenge after last season. SCCA and others persuaded them to extend their name-sponsorship for one more season.

I had it on the TV, but the intraweb was more entertaining as I rarely glanced over. Yeah, it was that bad. What's this "wheel of invertment" thing?

DS even pointed out the chicanes were a stupid idea. I'd bet he wasn't having fun calling that event.

That was painful to watch. I bet most teams used up a sizeable portion of their budgets on that boondogle.

It was like, NASCAR meets Saturday Night Midgets meets monster truck show.

Very Sad.
