This is the Road America DE for the Nordstern region PCA and it is in mid July. For those who cannot make this one that the Chicago Region is putting on.

Murphyslaw, are you going to make it out to the Blackhawk DE on June 13th?
Hope the clutch job goes well...I did 3 clutch jobs on my car last year and only hit the track twice.

Charlie, once upon a time, you had to do at least one Memorial Day Weekend event to be able to do the Club Race weekend.

I don't know if that is still in effect.

If you haven't ever done the Memorial event, you probably can get into the Club Racde weekend event with John Ruther's blessing (He's the Chicago Region Chief Instructor)

I think so. If you do (or have done) another event, they'll probably let you register. Do a Blackhawk, or something else first, and you'll be OK.

Unfortunately, I'll probably be doing my next DE in an M3 and not the Porsche. I have a house to buy and a wedding to pay for next year. Maybe in a couple years if the M3 is lacking, I'll go back to the 911. Actually, even if the M3 isn't lacking, I'm still planning on going back to Porsche.
