Mike, we clocked Leh at an unofficial 1:50 flat on the 3rd lap which he already had traffic to pass. I think he could lay down a sub 1:50.

Mike,

Unfortunately I had to miss this race getting ready to go out of town on vacation.
Hope to be at Mosport though...

Bill C was there.

My first WGI PCA live race observations....

Some fast dudes, but also some slow pokes....

overall, not too much carnage which is always good thing.......

Hats off to Sean on his first official race......

Gary you should have been there.......

Sick.... that unrestricted RSR engine along with his mad skillz will need something like a 962 to be beaten! Hope to see some video from his car.

You guys didn't miss much, 2 enduros rained out today, second sprint races had some rain in the last two groups. In all, the weather was not all that nice.

Gary, it happened right in front of me. Bill Richter was 2 inches off his bumper. It was a miracle that he didn't collect Bill (and many cars right after him). We were lucky in our races, no rain. It was awesome.

Considering Mike got shoved to the back (64th?) at the start due to mechanical difficulties and made it to SIXTH after 15 laps he must have been COOKING!!

So Sean, whats YOUR story? 1st race and you're not saying much!! I was yapping like a hound dog on crystal meth after my races!

Ha! I'll be putting my post together tomorrow, I'm beat. Not sure how I finished in the enduro, I left before they posted the results. I'm sure my 720 spin in T1 on the last lap didn't help though (the black flag for speeding in the pits also didn't help)

Mike and Bill were both smoking, as were Karl and an SP3 driver whose name I've forgotten.

I'm not sure which did more harm, when I locked my brakes or missed a gear on the downshift.

A missed gear is better than the WRONG gear any day so it sounds like the worst thing is flatspotted tires? As long as you didn't hit anything (13) just chock it up to experience!

The weather during the Grape group endurance race was intense. The first drops started to fall just as the pace car left the pits. The sky grew blacker, and blacker...They got about 20 minutes in before the rain started falling in torrents. As I braved my way back to our trailer, I kept an eye on the flaggers. They displayed the slippery flag at turn 1 for about 3 minutes before finally black flagging the race.

The rain fell like that for a solid 30 minutes. It was brutal.

Here's a pic that Food Angel took that shows the sky. This is Ron Savenor and me coming up on lapped traffic.
