Nah, I will be renting a car from my friend, another 996 Cup. Just giving you a hard time, its a great car you have and would not be easy to replace or replicate.

Kam, based on the new paving which is a little grippier, the time for the B pole should be a mid 2:08.

Kam, it really depends on what shows up and WHO is driving it. So far B has looked like a class that has only "gone fast enough to win" vs some solid competition.

Thanks to Larry and Mitch.

That seems to be close to C pole time. I guess C is becoming the old F class in terms of level of competition.

GTC1 is the old F class in my opinion competition wise. B-D will all be reshuffled next year. Bottom line, whatever you have and is safe... go out and RACE it.

Fast lap in B... 2:05-2:10 ? Last year I ran 2:13-2:14. So far I have only been to Pocono where I took 2-3 seconds a lap off. I am hoping to run solid under 2:10 this year. I am not sure if that will get me anywhere. The old GT3s are damn fast and the new ones are just stupid. I think I would give a 993 RS a good run now, but a properly prepped GT3 with a good driver... tow quote Donna Amico... I don't have a chance.

I agree . There really are not many classes that go 8 deep with people that have consistently podium'd in other classes.

Now convince the old man to put back the stock parts and join in the fun!

I think 2:04-2:05s is realistic for a 996 GT3 Street car prep'd to the limits of B.

I think that there are 4 sessions on Fri as usual. The difference is session 3 is qualifying for the first Sprint race on Sat. Session 4 is the practice starts as usual. On SatmI think there is a warm up and then the race. Your fastest time in race one is your qualifying time for race 2 Sat afternoon. The Sunday schedule is the normal warmup then enduro. The other change is that they alloted 45 minutes for each sprint race on the schedule with a 5 minute buffer between races to repair the schedule if there are any issues. This should give us a solid 30-35 minute race
