Ahhhh, I can't think about work anymore. Who's going to be at the Seneca for dinner and drinks tomorrow?

I'd like to come watch the racing again this year, but the WGI website lists it as a NON-SPECTATOR event. I read that as racers, crew, and track workers only. Is this the fact? I'd hate to drive 3 hrs only to be told at the gate "go away"?

Would any racer at this event be willing to add me to their "pit crew" list so I can gain entry. This way if it really is no specators allowed, I can go to the office and get a pass to get in.

Thanks,

Mike Stanko

So far so good Gary. Made it through today without rain. And, yes - we're having a blast.

Just be sure to check in first with PCA and they should issue a wristband. The PCA registration was up the hill, follow the yellow signs for "event staging". I'm not entirely sure of the process, but that's what I've told my wife (FoodAngel here on RL) to do tomorrow when she shows up with the kids.

They are running some really fast times. Mike ran a 2:13 today. Bill Richter won the first sprint race in G and then Mike won the second with Bill taking second place. The times are pretty quick across the board. An SP3 car won both races outright.

I knew there was a lot more to go (for me) and the 2:15's were going to go down....

Leh Keen is blowing the field away as well. I didn't see the sprint race but he was 5 seconds ahead of the field in qualifying

Maybe they'll put him at the back of the pack to start because of "blocking" again this year...

Leh built a 27 second lead in the first 3 laps on second place. BTW second place was moving also, but not warp speed like Leh was.

Where are the turbo guys like Bill and Norm? They should be keeping Leh honest.
