It's possible, maybe, but it probably would take about $25K above the cost of the car and safety mods to get it there. 2:08s or maybe high 2:07s are more realistic.

Anyone have a good feel for how much times have dropped due to the newly paved sections?

I was there last week, but it was cold. The new paving was definitely grippier, but I'd be guessing to say how much faster. Based on times I saw from running with other people, maybe 1/2 a second give or take.

The old NE F-Troop is legendary. The new F-ers are deep too.

30 cars at Mid-Ohio (where overall registration was down). Close to a third of them show up on podii.

There are terrific drovers throughout the grids. But ya gotta love those big tough classes.

I ate dinner with some of the F-ers on Saturday night. You sneeze in that group and lose 4 positions. It is crazy to watch!

Silly Question here . . . but just found out that my kids will be joining me there. All of the materials say that I must bring my own color printouts of the minor waiver form, which the materials say are available at the PCA or Zone 1 websites, but I can't seem to find them anywhere. Am I just looking in the wrong place?

It is hard enough to get fans, so I decided to make my own. It would be a shame after all that work not to have them there to route me on!

Why does this feel like a trick question?

The funny part is that I was thinking on this exact issue today. I already have them packed, so I will bring them. Since Sofia will be sleeping in the same hotel room as my wife and I, the usual disincentives to smoking cigars will not be a concern . . .
