Are dogs allowed at Watkins Glen?

I emailed the Glen over a week ago but haven't heard back about their policy on dogs/pets. I'd love to bring my track-friendly and cup car-proof dog with me, along with the wife, but thought I heard that perhaps they don't allow pets.
Does anyone have any info?
Thanks.

Does anybody remember the story about the region president who's Boxer (not the car) got loose up at Mosport? I have forgotten whether it was a race or DE, but it got red flagged so that the driver could come in, pick up a leash, drive back onto the track and corral the dog, stick him in the race car and drive back to the pits (with the dog undoubtably hanging his head out the window).
Must have been hilarious (though potentially dangerous).

Pets: No dogs/pets are allowed due to new W GI regulations. Anyone with a pet will be asked to leave, no refunds.
Garages: Garage bays will be offered at $30 per car or $60 per garage for the entire event. Proceeds to benefit the Watkins
Directly from the registration form for Cups & Saucers. Would have brought my two Corgi's.

Last year I was at The Glen twice for a total of 4 days. Both times somebody brought a dog that did not belong there (one guy had his wife and two little kids too). The dog barked loudly the whole time, pulling at his lead. It really was sad to see. That's probably why the change in policy. Who knows, maybe the dog was in distress due to the noise, activity, and smells...

All it takes is a few inconsiderate owners to screw it up for the rest of us. My dog is so mellow, he naps while unmuffled 996 cup cars rip the early morning air. Truly, an awesome track dog.

If you were single, that dog would separate the wheat from the chaff among the ladies.
