We got a new tow vehicle pictured below- haven't done the software update yet, but no issues so far. Just have the hot dogs in a cooler in the back- won't let the flames, if they appear, go to waste!!!

I got a 2000 F-250 (7.3 & 80,000 miles) and I have only had to replace the cam positioning sensor twice. Its been a great truck though and I plan on keeping it a long time especially after what I have been reading about the new diesels. I had a dodge non-diesel right before this one and it was not made nearly as well as the Ford. Lots of wind noise and such...does Dodge not have any issues with their diesels?

I have had several in Ford diesel's in our business (Construction) and ...knock on wood... we have not had any serious problems with either the 7.3's or the 6.0's and we tow up to 13.5K with them.
The early 6.0's were prone to problems from what I understand but the later ones are better ( I hope so since we have 2 '06's...)
Towed my enclosed trailer to Roebling in Feb (~1000 miles RT) and my wife thought the truck rode well.
I'll be going to Mid Ohio in a couple of weeks and lets hope we have the same non eventful trip.

Nice ride Carm. Put a boomerang on it? We did with our diesel pickups and forklift. Diesels especially are a hot commodity. I know a car dealer who had his Duramax stolen in Rockport (b/w Gananoque & Brockville) of all places.
Got your gooseneck all set up? Trailer safetied?
I got coerced into writing an article for the Auspuff concerning maintenance and safety inspection requirements. I'm doing my research now so it's on my mind.

Well I thought I had a good truck 05 6.0L f350. First time problem going to Road Altanta 2 weeks ago, the ERG cooler blew. Coolant into the intake manifold BIG smoke show, thought we blew a head gasket. Drive back 5 hrs and get a 7.3L and continue to Road Altanta. Easter friday picked up the 6.0L. Looks like I will be not keeping this truck and with the 6.4L issues ,Dodge here we come.

Interestingly enough if you were to tow a big RV fifth wheel (no car carrying capability) you would not need a safety sticker on the 1 ton when coupled but would when not coupled. Ontario's laws are SCREWED UP.
