John you are probably correct, but that harness bar will never fit through the harness guides in the seat, so it should not be a problem.

Nice. Saw a car at a non driving PCA event with the 5 point lap belts in the stock locations no sub and the upper belts clipped to each other through the holes in the seat. Walked by later and they had been removed. Don't know if it was a joke or not but wish I had a camera with me.

Wow. Thanks for sharing that . . . I often help tech cars at DEs. I'll be sure and pay a wee bit more attention to how folks install their belts. That could easily get skipped if you're not thinking about it. Yikes!
