Not sure if Manny finished at all. One of the drawbacks of trying to get some different photos during each of the sessions was moving from spot to spot. Makes it very hard to keep track of the happenings on the track. I do seem to recall missing Manny on the last few laps of his sprint race. Hope it was just me being too busy to notice.
edit: Thanks Hank!

Great shot!!! I finished on the first of three pages in the sprint. Missed being above the crease by three positions. Sprint was one of the wildest. Carl Tallardy left a mega smoke screen early on. I believe it was from a faulty accusump. My video camera captured it perfectly. Totally white for about 15 seconds. You couldn't see in front or behind you. Worst than that scene from Days of Thunder. Unlike Tom Cruise, I didn't floor it. I think I started 48th and finished 20th overall.
Enduro was a bust after three laps. I had a problem with the valve stem from my Fiske wheel. It was defective and the folks at Bob Woodman didn't carry any replacements, so they put in a generic rubber one. It must've not been the right size, because I lost ten pounds in an hour. By the time I noticed this, they had packed up. SO, I made a bad decision. I replaced only one wheel with an older Hoosier and left the newer one on the other side. On the first lap, under hard acceleration, the car would try to launch to the right (the left tire was the new one). After two or three laps, I decided that I would keep the car and other racers in one piece and call it a day. I should've just put on a complete older set. Lesson learned: Order new valve stems from Fiske to keep as spares. Still had a good time helping three other guys with their pitstops though. Great event and great weather. Can't wait to next year.

I'm using 2 cameras. My primary is a Canon 1D Mark II, I have a 1D Mark I as a backup (also a 1V-HS for film when I'm feeling nostalgic). These shots were taken with one of the following lenses: 500 f4 L IS, 300 f2.8 L IS, or a 70-200 f2.8 L IS.
Thanks for the comments.

Even though it was only briefly, it was nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you too. I'll be back in a couple of weeks for the HSR races.
