I don't know about you guys but I would kind of like to know what is/isn't permissable. I feel like it may be an ever changing set of paramenters at this point. Maybe an explanation of why,specifically, it was closed is in order. The last few days shenanigans don't seem any worse then what has gone on in the thread over the several months that it was around. In fact, might I suggest that when a moderator takes it upon himself to close a thread, that the heading is left up & an explanation of why the post was closed is put there. Hello! Bueller?

Wow. Looks like a hard delete (total erasure) vs. a soft delete. Rarely do I criticize the mods here (shoot, I'm a mod on a couple of different boards - it's a thankless job), but this seems to be stupid.
