Not top secret, but it is used for executive protection in the Middle East...

I keep the picture to honor the guy on the left, who lost his life serving his country. RIP, Bama....

Ok, ok. You guys are something else. I'm just trying to watch the Bears/Seahawks & I have to go out in the rain and take pictures....grumble, grumble, grumble.....

BTW it's a 2007 Dodge Megacab Laramie edition with the Cummins 5.9 turbo-diesel motor. It has Nav, DVD, Bluetooth phone connection, leather, and lots of other amenities.

I don't know about that. My RSA seems to run pretty good with only 6 cylinders.

And I agree about the Eagles. Should have gotten the TD with 2nd & 1 on the 3 yard line, and NEVER should have punted at the end of the game. Oh well, there's always next year.

Race cars are OK with 6. Tow vehicles must have 8.

The transmission in the 6.0L is much better, since it has a 'Tow' mode (on the shift column, where the 'Overdrive' button used to be). The engine seems to be just as good as the 7.3L
I do NOT like the EGR valve/system they had to put into the 6.0L, the 7.3L had none of this emissions crap. The EGR has already clogged (combustion residue due to low cetane fuel....so I have to run cetane booster 4oz/25 gallons).....well known problem with the Ford techs.
The newer diesels are going to have even MORE emissions crap (6.4L Powerstroke should have 4 EGR's, the Dodge/Chevy are supposed to have urea canisters to reduce emissions.......
The Excursion is my wife's daily driver. I told her she could have any car she wanted, she chose an the 05 to replace her 00. If she gets something else, I'll likely keep the Excursion forever.

Thank you.
It was previously owned by rennlist member 'clubrcr' out of Florida.
He ran it at Rennsport Reunion II and then sold it to me. It's got quite a history. I try and detail it after each track session....otherwise Jim will ask for it back.

Sorry, but I don't race......just a recreational DE track putz. I guess the car is just getting some well deserved rest while I own it.
