A copy of MADs Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions! You need to get a copy!

Actually it is nothing more exciting than a Graingers catalog. And thanks, my wife & I really like it and it should make it a lot easier to get to those farther away tracks.

Tow vehicle and 18' V nose ATC trailer...

What is towed inside the trailer (maybe not a Porsche but it's 917 colours)

Here driven by my older son who is following his brother in #49 (I've always raced with 48, my and Dan Gurney's lucky number)

Very cute! With that smile, it looks like it's happy to be racing.

How is the Excursion for a daily driver? Is the engine quieter on the 6.0 than on the 7.3s?

Fwiw, my wife uses our 7.3 as a daily driver. She'd like a 911 Targa (old style) instead ...

Here's my Yukon at Road America last Sept. I seem to recall a very nice 964 cup being pulled by the Excursion next to me.

I have a 2005 6.0 Excursion that I use as a daily driver. I love the thing. There is nothing quite about it though. My daughter says it's as loud as her school bus.

Yes, a bit quieter.
She must like it as a daily driver, she could have anything and she chose the Excursion (again).
She also enjoys driving my daily driver, 06 Ford Escape Hybrid......a lot smaller and a lot lower to the ground!
I bought her a 968 Cab just so she could have something different when the weather is nice.......sat in the garage all last year, she still hasn't gotten around to learning how to drive a 6 speed.

Funny... For a road trip, for example, is it OK, or are you constantly reminded of the noise?

I love my Yukon XL, but it is keeping me from an enclosed trailer. I'm a little leary of the Excursion/F250/2500HD due to the noise.

I suppose you don't garage the diesels either?
