Yes, the garage is heated to 45deg in the winter.
But with a factory block heater, there's no requirement. Starts up in zero degree weather just like it's 40deg after running the block heater for 3 hours prior to startup. Just use an outdoor timer.

I have one that looks like that. It handles the two karts I currently have. It should do okay for the future car too. Spec E30 or 1970 Titan Mk6 Formula Ford that looks similar to...

I was thinking more about the black smoke, etc.. created by the diesels, and the effect they would have on drywall in a nice, finished garage.

1993 1500 Suburban towing the mother of all steel trailers, 18ft, 8K and weighs 3100lbs (onloaded.. ouch). The suburban is also my hotel, office, heater, A/C and do it all vehicle as I try to race and not pay for hotel rooms.

90K on the odo, and this is the first time in he life she is ever really doing work. :-D

I have no such issue with our Excursion that is garaged. I also don't back in and I always open the garage door before starting it.

I can't remember the last time I saw a mid 80's chevy detailed like that. That is great.
